Reusable Grocery / Tote Bags with an Ecological Message

Growing up, I remember helping dad load up the back of the old Ford station wagon with newspapers. We would drive them out to a little shack in the country and drive onto a giant scale system. Then we would unload the papers and drive back onto the scales. That old recycling center would pay is for the weight of the papers.

We also collected cans, glass and anything else that was recyclable so we could 'help the environment.' We were recycling before it was cool (or convenient). You see, my dad has always been a die-hard environmentalist. We spent a lot of time backpacking and camping, and he would stop along the trail and pick up candy wrappers or cigarette butts, even if he had on a 30lb. pack. He firmly instilled the leave it better than you found it motto in us, and my brother, my sister and I all do what we can to help the environment.

In keeping with my fundamental beliefs, I developed a collection of reusable totes with ecological messages. Here are the fist of what I hope is many.
